According to studio estimates Sunday, “F1 The Movie” debuted with $55.6 million in North American theaters and $144 million globally over the weekend, handing the tech company easily its biggest opening yet. “F1” was Apple’s first foray into summer blockbuster territory. A government minister says Ye, the U.S. rapper formerly known as Kanye West, has recently been stripped of an Australian visa after he released his single “Heil Hitler.”  Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke on Wednesday revealed Ye has been traveling for years to Australia where his wife Bianca Censori was born. Her family live in Melbourne. Burke said “Heil Hitler,” released in May, promoted Nazism. The song has been criticized as an antisemitic tribute to German dictator Adolf Hitler. Burke said, “We have enough problems in this country already without deliberately importing bigotry.”

Multi-billionaire Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez have arrived in Venice ahead of their star-studded weekend wedding. Bezos waved from the water taxi as he and Sanchez arrived Wednesday at the dock of the Aman Hotel, a five-star hotel on the Grand Canal, with two security boats in tow. The nuptials have galvanized a wide assortment of activist groups protesting it as a sign of the growing disparity between the haves and have-nots as well as disregard of the city’s residents. About a dozen Venetian organizations have united under the banner “No Space for Bezos.” Among the 200 guests attending the wedding are Mick Jagger, Ivanka Trump, Oprah Winfrey, Katy Perry and Leonardo DiCaprio.
